UNITED CONTRACTORS FOR OIL & GAS (UCOG) Inc is an incorporated company established in January 2011. It is registered in British Virgin Islands (BVI) and will have its activity at a first stage in Middle East.

 

The General Manager of UCOG is Samer Akkad, he was the founder and the General Manager of United Oil Inc. since its establishment in 2001 until 2010 and during this period UOI performed successful drilling operation in Iraq with 2 contracts with SOC to drill 30 wells in West Qurna and 18 wells in Tuba field, and he is still a major share holder in United Oil Inc with 33.33% of the company shares in addition to his responsibility in UCOG.

 

UCOG started its activity in the same year 2011 with bidding for tenders in Sudan and Syria and will extend the activity to Iraq beginning of 2012 year. The company will extend its field of investment to include Oil and Gas upstream and downstream activities and projects, variety of other activities including turnkey and daily rate basis drilling for oil and gas, completion, work over and associated services, providing mud, cementing and all drilling and work over associated services and turnkey projects in all the countries of the Middle East.

 

Also one of main new company activities is upstream exploration and production as well as upgrading of field and oil well production enhancement. In all provided activities, company cares to make use and access to the latest inventions and technology applications through the alliances and cooperation with sound international companies. In addition, UCOG cares to employee well selected staff and engineers who have diverse international origin and experience and knowledge of the latest applied technology.
